Before I introduce my bridesmaids and wedding party it is only fitting to introduce some very important people...my mom and dad, Billy and Kathy!!They are so special to me!! They are so gracious and so loving!! I am so blessed to have such wonderful parents who are such great examples!! I love yall both!! I could not have done this without yall!! Thanks for letting me have my dream of having my wedding reception in my backyard!! I love yall!! Cant wait until July--we are almost there! :)

Going to the Chapel and Got Married!!!

No, not Jake and me...... but my friends, Christina and Zach. Jake and I traveled to one of my favorites places, Austin Texas, to go to Christina and Zach's fabulous wedding. We had a blast and the wedding was beautiful!!!! My friend Katherine met us in Austin for the wedding....so good to see everyone!!! Congrats Christina and Zach!!! We love yall!!

On Valentines Day Jake took me to a very romantic place....the PBR!!! What is the PBR you ask??? Well, it is the professional bull riding. Yes, that is where we spent our valentine's day. Jerome, Jake's mom's sweet boyfriend, is the production manager for the PBR and got us great seats...front row!! My friend Ashley and her friend Jason went with us. We had a blast!!! (Yes, that it is a pearl snap shirt Jake is wearing--check out the rhinestone sparkle shirts Ashley and I have on...we were going for cowgirl chic :)----hey, we tried??? :) )

I will have to say I have some of the cutest flower girls!!!! I am soo blessed to have Meghan and Ryan as my flower girls! Both are so special to Jake and myself. We just think they are the cutest. I can't wait to see them in their flower girl dresses! They are going to steal the show!! Let me introduce you to these lovely girls!!!

Meghan is my cousin. She is so precious and soo sweet!! She is the youngest of 3 and she is the only girl!! She has two "stinky" older brothers, as she would say, Ryan and Reagan. Meghan is so athletic!! She is a great gymnast and is on a competition travel team!!! She can tumble and do the splits (things I could only do in the womb--do ya hear me girls???). She loves to come to Madisonville and stay with her Aunt Kathy and "the girls" and get manicures and pedicures!!! She was soo excited when she found out that I was engaged to Jake....she immediately knew what her duty was, "the flower girl." Meghan is very excited and has informed me that she will want someone to do her hair on the day of the wedding!! Cute huh??? We love you Meghan and cant wait to have you at the wedding!!! You are so special!!!

Ryan
Ryan is so funny!!! She is Jake's niece and we love her to pieces!! The funniest thing is that Ryan calls us "Gayke" and "Cokey" rather than Jake and Courtney!! Ryan loves it when we come to visit her! She loves her Uncle "Gayke." Ryan loves to draw and is very artistic. I have an engagment picture that she did for me. She also loves to dress up (as you can tell she is in her Wonder Woman outfit in each picture). She is a spunky and energetic 4 year old who is not afraid of anything!!! We love you Ryan!!!

This is us at Halloween. Ryan is Wonder woman, I am Sarah Palin (look closely at my drill baby drill pin :)), and Jake is a 60's guy. When Jake and I first got engaged I showed Ryan my ring and asked her if she knew what that meant. She said," Yes, Cokey and Gayke are getting married." I then told her that she gets to be the flower girl to which she replied, "I not a flower girl, I Wonder woman." I laughed until I almost cried. That is a story we will tell her for years to come.....We love you Ryan!!!

Well, I finally am getting around to blogging. Things have been hectic for us....this wedding planning is hard work!! Jake and I have also been in trial the last 3 weeks and are completely worn out!!! But it is now time to get serious about blogging.........and make some important introductions. :)

I decided it is officially time to start the introductions of the wedding party!!! This may take awhile folks...we have a large wedding party.... we told you it would be a big 'ol Southern Wedding!!! Stay Tuned!!! Most importantly, lets start out with my fab hubby to be........Jake Cain!!! (Yes I will be Courtney Cain--cute huh??? :)) I am so blessed to have found Jake. He is soo special to me and I can't wait to spend the rest of my life with him!!!!
Oh and the only downfall.....Jake is obsessed with OU sports!!! Above is a picture of Jake at Barry Switzer's (aka the King) house in Norman, Oklahoma. We went to Barry's house this fall after an OU game. In Jake's opinion being at Barry Switzer's house is one of the greatest days of his life so far (next to our engagement day of course)!! We were so lucky to get invited to visit Barry Switzer and had such a blast!!! What a memory!!!!!!!! :)

Dad, Mom, and Brittney

I am so blessed to have such a great, loving, and supportive family...they are not just great, loving, and supportive but also ATHLETIC!!! Today my beautiful and precious sister, Brittney, signed an athletic scholarship to play softball for Angelina College in Texas. She is so talented and I just adore her!! Love you Britt!!!

Jake and I finally got engaged on September 26, 2008 after dating for 3 years. We are getting married July 11, 2009 in Madisonville, Texas. We are sooo excited!! We thought this blog would be a great way to keep in touch and keep everyone updated about the wedding!!!

So what have we been doing for 3 years???

Eating with our dear friends, Rob and Heather, in Tulsa, Oklahoma!! We love you Heather and Rob!!

Going to Waco, Texas to be with my sweet sister, Whitney, when she graduated from Baylor University!!! We love you Whit!!

Running races in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Poor Jake~ his red face says it all!!!

Attending Texas v. OU Weekends (yes we have now made it through three Texas v. OU weekends without killing each other :) )!!!!

Supporting Junior League of Tulsa...Jake is so good about going to all my Junior League events!!!!! I think he secretly likes going!!!

Visiting New Orleans!!!! Great Food and Great Company!! We had such a blast in NOLA!!!

Relaxing in Madisonville, Texas for Fourth of July!!! We love to visit my family in Madisonville. It is so relaxing!!! We love you Smith fam!!!

Celebrating Birthdays in Madisonville, Texas!!! We usually spend my b-day and Jake's b-day in M-ville since my birthday is July 1st and Jake's birthday is July 4th!!!!

Celebrating Fourth of July in Holdenville, Oklahoma with Jake's Family. We had so much fun listening to a band and watching fireworks. We love you Holdenville crew!!!
